Well, we made it with some cheeky changes & OMG was it amazing... Our BF’s said it was one of the best meals they’ve ever eaten.

SALMON RICE BOWL

It’s simple, here are the ingredients;

  • Salmon from woollies in a bag with the teriyaki sauce ‘Bag & Bake’ From the deli
  • Shallots
  • Coconut rice
  • Pickled Ginger
  • Sesame Seed
  • Avo
  • Japanese Mayo
  • Teriyaki sauce
  • Small roasted seaweed sheets  sheetshttps://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/788498/a-snacks-seaweed

    HOW TO MAKE

    For the salmon we cooked it in the oven bag, then took it out and grilled the salmon in the oven. Once cooked to perfection add some more teriyaki sauce on it before smooshing it in.

    THE SMOOSH TECHNIQUE

    Add your coconut rice to a bowl then place your salmon & shallots on top. Sprinkle some sesame seeds on and grab a folk… Now smoosh the salmon, shallots & seeds into the rice

    THE PRESENTATION

    Ok now to get fancy… Cut your avo into slices ( we used half an avo per bowl) delicately place your avo to the side of your rice/salmon mixture…. Add some pickled ginger to the other side…. grab those sesame seeds and sprinkle them again over the top...Time for the fun part… Zigzag your Japanese mayo on top and WOW you have created a masterpiece OH and Slot your seaweed sheets where you can.

    HOW TO EAT

    Every bite you have, you make a boat out of the seaweed AKA make a seaweed taco hehe

    CRUMBED CHICKEN BOWL/ PLATE

     If you want something a bit lighter AKA no rice and you’re not a fan of fish then this is for you! Keep in mind if you’re a rice lover like us you can always add rice to the following bowl.

     here are the ingredients;

    • Crumbed chicken (we get the coles brand chicken schnitzel)
    • Baby spinach
    • Shallots
    • Cucumber
    • Pickled ginger
    • Sesame seeds
    • Teriyaki sauce
